Corporate Partnerships / Student Employment / Alumni Engagement / Professional Development

Abbe Rosenthal is currently Assistant Director and Head of Corporate Partnerships, Student Employment, Alumni Engagement, and Professional Development as well as an executive coach for Rutgers' Professional Science Master’s (PSM) program. In addition, Abbe is an advisor for the Externship Learning Lab for which she has engaged numerous corporate partners to provide experiential, design-thinking opportunities for students pursuing their Master of Business and Science (MBS) degrees. In addition, she formed a partnership with the Honors College at Rutgers University–New Brunswick to include Honors College undergraduate students in the MBS Externship Exchange program. Since joining the PSM program in 2017, Abbe has centralized the career development function and helped form both the MBS Alumni Association and the MBS Mentoring Program.

Prior to joining PSM, Abbe spent 15+ years in talent acquisition, executive coaching, and learning and development—supporting leaders and teams across industries, functions, levels, cultures, and geographies. Abbe holds her master's degree in applied industrial/organizational psychology with a specialty in workplace diversity from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Additionally, she holds a bachelor’s degree in business, summa cum laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Abbe is an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and certified through the Rutgers’ Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance (LCOP) Program. Additionally, she is trained as a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. Abbe uses her experience, sense of humor, and curiosity to effectively coach professionals to identify and leverage their strengths, unleash their passions, and set themselves up for success.
